Holiday Let Cleaning

1.1 A Written Quotation will be provided upon contact with Cleanthing Ltd. This is subject to change once a site visit has been carried out. We also reserve the right to change this quotation once at least 3 cleans have been carried out should it become obvious that more or less work is required. Differences in excess of 10% will be discussed with the client prior to the start of the work.

Laundry Hire Services

2.1 Should laundry hire be required, the following terms and conditions will apply.

  • A rental period is one changeover or one calendar week. If linen is left on for 2 weeks or more, a weekly standing charge of 60% will apply.
  • We require all linen to be returned in good condition. Any damage to linen or stains that are unable to be removed after treatment and 2 washes will be charged at full market value of the damaged item.
  • We request that pets are not allowed to sit on linen and an extra charge will apply for pet hair or pet damage and any damage to machines used to process the laundry.
  • Linen and towels are not to be used for cleaning and they are not to be removed from the property. Any damage, loss or stains should be reported immediately. Replacements can be provided at standard rates should a guest require it. We will endeavour to attend on the same day but reserve the right to a 24 hour notice period.

Payment

3.1 Payment terms are strictly by bank transfer upon receipt of an invoice.

Claims and liability

4.1 If the customer is not completely satisfied with a cleaning job, Cleanthing Ltd reserves the right to re-clean any areas and items at no additional cost. Any complaints of this nature must be made within 24 hours to Cleanthing Ltd. This should preferably be done in writing with photographic evidence.

4.2 All fragile and highly breakable, valuable or treasured items must be secured or removed. Cleanthing Ltd does not take responsibility for damages.

4.3 Key replacement/locksmith fees are paid only if keys are lost by our operatives.

Cancellations

5.1 Cancellations of cleaning jobs must be notified in writing more than 24hrs in advance. If a cancellation is made less than 24hrs ahead, a full fee will be payable.

5.2 Customers may terminate the whole service by giving one week advanced notice in writing and specifying the last cleaning date. Cleanthing Ltd reserves the same rights.

5.3 Customers agree to pay the full price of the cleaning visit in the event of a lockout caused by our cleaners being turned away; no one home to let them in; or problem with customer’s keys. If keys are provided they must open the lock without any special efforts or skills.

5.4 Due to the nature of the business, the Cleanthing Ltd keyholder may not always be on site. Therefore, it is a requirement that we have access to the key box and that keys are present. If this is not the case and the cleaner cannot access the property, a full fee will be applied.

 

One-off cleaning:

6.1 Customer may cancel the scheduled cleaning job at least 24 hours prior to the agreed start time without incurring any penalty.

6.2 Customer agrees to pay £30.00 cancellation fee per cleaner if the customer cancels or changes the date/time less than 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment.

6.3 Customer agrees to pay £30.00 cancellation fee per cleaner in the event of a lock-out caused by our cleaners being turned away; no one home to let them in; or problem with customer’s keys. If keys are provided they must open the lock without any special efforts or skills.

 

End of tenancy cleaning/after builders clean:

7.1 Customer may cancel the scheduled cleaning job at least 24 hours prior to the agreed start time.

7.2 Customer agrees to pay 40% of the quote as a cancellation fee if the customer cancels or changes the date/time less than 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment.

7.3 Customer agrees to pay 40% of the quote as a cancellation fee in the event of a lock-out cased by our cleaners being turned away; no one home to let them in; no water or power available at customer’s premises; or problem with customer’s keys. If keys are provided they must open the lock without any special efforts or skills. If an initial deposit has been paid to Cleanthing Ltd then the customer agrees that deposit funds may be used to cover the cancellation fee.

7.4 If further work is carried out after the clean has been completed, there will be additional charges for any further work needed.

 

Additional Services

8.1 Cleanthing Ltd can organise oven cleans, window cleans, gardening services, PAT testing and carpet cleaning at additional cost. Quotes will be provided in advance and carried out by external contractors. Cleanthing Ltd will act as intermediary but not be held responsible for damages or liabilities.

 

Contact

Cleanthing Ltd will not issue personal contact details of any member of staff or subcontractor to customers. If contact is needed, this must be made through Cleanthing Ltd email or telephone or SMS.

By ordering Cleanthing Ltd service by telephone, e-mail, or Cleanthing Ltd website the customer agrees to be bound by Cleanthing Ltd terms and conditions. The relevant United Kingdom law shall govern these terms and conditions, and by agreeing to be bound by them the customer agrees to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the relevant courts of the United Kingdom. Cleanthing Ltd reserves the right to make any changes to any part of these terms and conditions without giving any prior notice. Please check this website for updates.
